Buenos Aires-based FilmSharks has acquired worldwide gross sales rights to a characteristic movie adaptation of Spanish creator Alice Keren’s romantic bestseller “Todo lo que nunca fuimos” (“Todo lo que nunca fuimos”).
Directed by Jorge Alonso and starring Maxi Iglesias (Buyer’s Chef), Margarida Corceiro (Punto Nemo), and Sebastián Zurita (The best way to Survive Being Single), the movie tells the story of Lia (Corceiro), a younger up-and-coming painter struggling to get well from the accident that took the lives of her mother and father. Filming came about in San Sebastian, Zumaia, Zarauz and Madrid.
The romantic drama is produced by Versus Leisure, Lyo Media and Bixagu Leisure in collaboration with Elephantech International and CRE84U, with participation from HBO Max and Warner Bros. Photos Spain, and is scheduled for theatrical launch in June.
FilmSharks and Warner Bros. beforehand collaborated on the worldwide hit “Pídeme lo que quieras,” which was bought worldwide.
